Soviet Parachute Jump Badge, 1931 type, #49445
This Parachute Jump badge is made of brass and enamels. It measures 43.59 mm in height, 18.31 mm in width and weighs 6.1 gram without its screwplate. The reverse has an engraved inscription “OAX” (Russian abbreviation for OSOAVIAKHIM) and the serial number #49445.
The badge is in nice condition with its details crisp and most enamels present. The red and white enamel have some minor contact marks only but the blue enamel is missing a chip between the parachute and the red star on top. Its screw has not been shortened and the badge comes with its well fitted and original screwplate.
