Medal for Distinction in Guarding the State Border of the USSR

Made of nickel. It measures 32.21 mm in width and 2.83 mm in thickness. The height of the medal is 37.08 mm including its eyelet and it weighs 16.3 gram without its suspension.

The medal is in excellent condition with crisp details on even the higher laying parts like the soldier’s face. There are few dings and scratches and its suspension is time period to the medal.

Awarded to K.G.B. Border Troops personnel for military or other actions displaying excellence in guarding the Soviet borders.
