Captain Tituzov took part in the defense of Odessa as commanding officer of the Beluga Vessel and was awarded his Red Banner for bravery and courage and being wounded.

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 44.93 mm in height and 37.29 mm in width. It weighs 24.9 gram. The mint mark Monetni Dvor and the serial number are located at the bottom of its reverse.
This original order is in great condition with perfect enamels. Even the higher laying parts show little wear. There have been no repairs and the double layer steel suspension is time period to the order. Its connection ring has not been cut.
The document is in excellent condition as well and mentions the Red Banner only.

“Senior Lieutenant Tituzov has been serving in the Patriotic War since the very start. He took part in the defence of Odessa as commanding officer of the Beluga. Actively involved in combat operations, he displayed bravery and courage while executing the following tasks: delivering ammunition and provisions for a raid on warships and sweeping enemy mines.
During the defense of Crimea he commanded a detachment of signalers in the Kerch sector of the front line. During an enemy air raid he was wounded.
At the defense of the Caucasus he commanded messenger ship 077 of the 7th Patrol Boat Squadron of Tuapse Naval Base. He evacuated wounded troops from Sedmoi Kilometr, Kabardinki and Gelendzhik to Sochi.
He transported troops, weapons, and ammunition and went on patrols.
Senior Lieutenant Tituzov took part in the fighting on Cape Khako.
He suppressed two enemy firing positions and carried five wounded troops off of the battlefield. He was wounded in combat on June 10 and contused on June 15, 1943.”
