The group consist of the following items mounted to a brass medal bar:
Order of Glory #54970 (translation of the research at the end of this page)
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 46.67 mm in width; 48.56 mm in height and weighs 24.5 gram. The serial number is located on top of its reverse.
This early order is in excellent condition with much details still visible. The enamel is all present and only shows some superficial flaking. There are several small dings and scratches on both sides but not distracting the overall appearance of the order. Its connection ring has not been cut.
Medal for Combat Merit
Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 32.26 mm in width; 37.27 mm in height and weighs 19.0 gram.
The medals is in excellent condition with flawless enamels. Its connection ring has not been cut.
Medal for the Victory over Germany
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.18 mm in width and weighs 17.1 gram. The medal is in great condition with most gold plating present.
Jubilee Medal “30 Years of the Soviet Army and Navy”
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.29 mm in width and weighs 15.7 gram. The medal is in great condition with most gold plating present.
Jubilee Medal “Twenty Years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945”
Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width and weighs 16.2 gram. The medal is in great condition with crisp details. Most gold plating has been worn off.

“On the night of May 10 to 11, 1944, near Pereyurechtna Nasypi [approximate transliteration] and the Kovel–Kolodezhno road (half a kilometer east of the city of Kovel), he was serving in a reconnaissance outfit tasked with taking a prisoner for interrogation purposes. During a hand-to-hand skirmish he killed 1 Hitlerite and helped Junior Lieutenant Shtak take a prisoner.
He deserves the Order of Glory, 3rd Class.”
