Mongolian Khalkin Gol Badge

Variation with a flat reverse 

Made of silver plated brass and enamels. Measures 41.65 in height (including the flag pole end), 37.32 mm in width and weighs 14.7 gram without its screwplate.

This badge is in excellent condition. Most details are crisp and the enamels  problem free with some contact marks and minor flaking on the bottom red banner only. The orange, blue and green enamel is flawless and beautiful. The badge comes with its well fitted and original screwplate and full length screwpost. The badge and screwplate are produced by the Soviet Mint and shows several recognizable elements like the high quality enamels and of course the ‘Monjetny Dvor’on the screwplate .

Beautifully made piece and only 5500 produced of this ‘flatback’ type!
