Soviet Guards Badge

 

 

This post-war Soviet Guards Badge is made of gold plated brass and enamels. The badge measures 45.42 mm in height, 33.74 mm in width and weighs 15.1 gram, not including its screwplate.

 

The badge is in excellent condition and comes with its time period screwplate. The red and white enamels are flawless and all details are crisp. Most of the gold plating is still present.

 

These badges were awarded to the soldiers of elite ‘Guard’ units both during and after the Great Patriotic War.
