Medal for Labor Valor #1939
Made of solid silver and enamels. The medal itself measures 34.54 mm in diameter and 38.80 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 22.7 gram. The suspension measures 33.08 mm in width at the top and 28.30 in height. Its eyelet is 4.76 mm wide. The reverse shows the stamped letter ‘N’ followed by the engraved serial number ‘1939’. The minimum known serial number for this variation is 44 and the maximum 15685.
This early pre WW2 medal for Labor Valor is in a superb, well above average condition with its details crisp and without repairs. Even the higher laying parts on both sides are pristine. The enamel is beautiful and without flaking. All parts of the silver suspension are original including the screw, the ‘Mondvor’ nut, the plate holding the original red ribbon and the screw plate tightening it all up. The medal shows a medium patina on both sides and its connection ring has not been cut. The screw has not been shortened but is slightly bent.
The accompanying medal booklet is in good condition with all pages still attached to its cover. All text is still readable although a bit faint. The booklet is dated 8 June 1939 and is numbered 001990. It contains an original picture of Barinov

This post war medal for Labor Valor is in excellent condition with its details crisp. The higher laying parts on both sides are pristine and show minor wear only. The enamel is beautiful and without repairs. The medal comes with its time period brass suspension and uncut connection ring.
Its medal booklet, which is in great condition, is dated 17 April 1950 and is numbered Г-472248. Like the previous booklet this one also contains an original, different picture of Barinov
Medal for Valiant Labor
Made of brass. The medal itself measures 32.28 mm in diameter and 36.97 mm in height including its eyelet and weighs 17.8 gram.
In great condition with its details crisp and few contact marks only. It comes with its time period brass suspension and uncut connection ring.
The document is dated 10-09-1946 and numbered Э-376309
