Brief, concrete description of his feat of arms or achievements:

Comrade Kravtsov Ivan Gerasimovich, acting as adjutant senior, in battle always finds his place only in the advanced attacking units of the battalion. Comrade Kravtsov showed exceptional courage and bravery when taking the city of Šiauliai. Moving ahead of the advancing units, comrade Kravtsov and a group of machine gunners captured at the Šiauliai training airdrome: 6 disabled enemy aircraft, 28 motor vehicles, 14 tractors, 4 warehouses with spare parts and ammunition and 3 fuel tanks and at the same time they annihilated 30 enemy soldiers and officers.

When attacking the city of Jelgava, comrade Kravtsov was ordered to cut off the railway and highway routes of the enemy’s retreat from the city in a northwest direction. Having moved a long way through wooded and swampy terrain, comrade Kravtsov brilliantly and timely completed this task, defeating 4 rifle- and 1 supply company of the enemy in a meeting battle, capturing 62 soldiers, 4 food depots and 18 vehicles. He held the occupied positions until the arrival of the main forces. For courage and bravery shown in the fight against the German-fascist invaders, comrade Kravtsov deserves to be awarded the order of the “Red Banner”.
