KHALIULIN was awarded the Red Banner of Labor on 06/June/1942 by the decree “For excellent performance in production and adoption of the new weapon systems”.
KHALIULIN was a rigger of the plan 8, which was an artillery production facility. It was stablished in Podlipki (near Moscow) in 1918. By 1938, it was one of the biggest artillery producer in USSR, having most of its design and production activities around 45mm artillery systems (field guns, anti-aircraft, tank, and marine). The main Soviet anti-tank 45mm field cannon was designed and produced at the plan 8. In 1941, the plant was evacuated to Sverdlovsk and later became a part of another bigger military equipment manufacturer. That is why KHALIULIN was handed his Order of the Red Banner of Labor Sverdlovsk.
