Soviet Order of the Red Star; Made of silver and enamels.\u00a0<\/strong>Measures 48.12 mm in width; 46.11 mm in height and weighs 28.6 gram. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.<\/p>\n

This original order is in excellent condition with much detail. The red enamel is flawless and there are almost no dings and scratches. Both sided show a beautiful dark toning and its screw has not been shortened. The nut is time period to the order.<\/p>\n

A stunning piece with great eye appeal. Probably awarded in the spring of ’45 so nice research potential.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.<\/em><\/p>\n
