Soviet Order of the Red Star; Made of silver and enamels.\u00a0<\/strong>Measures 49.59 mm in width; 47.85 mm in height and weighs 31.9 gram. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This original order is in excellent condition with beautiful enamels. The higher laying parts on its obverse show light wear and most details are still visible. Both sides show a nice dark patina. The well fitted nut is time period to the order and the screw has not been shortened.<\/p>\n

Stunning piece. Probably awarded in november ’44 so with nice research potential.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.<\/em><\/p>\n
