Soviet Order of the Red Star; Made of silver and enamels.\u00a0<\/strong>Measures 47.51 mm in width; 46.03 mm in height and weighs 31.9 gram. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This order is in decent condition with medium wear on the center medallion.\u00a0 The enamels have several small dings and scratches and a superficial flake on the 12 o’clock ray of the red star. Its screw has not been shortened and there have been no repairs.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.<\/em><\/p>\n
