Soviet Order of the Red Star; Made of silver and enamels.\u00a0<\/strong>Measures 47.78 mm in width; 46.51 mm in height and weighs 28.4 gram. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This original order is in excellent condition with problem free enamels although there is a minor chip on the 9 o’clock ray of the red star. The higher laying parts on its obverse show only light wear with most details still visible. The screwplate is time period to the order and the screw has not been shortened.<\/p>\n

Probably awarded during the first months of 1945 so nice research potential.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.<\/em><\/p>\n
