\nSoviet Medal for the Defense of Odessa Variation 1 WW2<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

\nMedal for the Defense of Odessa: made of gilded brass. Measures 32.23 mm in width,\u00a0<\/span>37.48 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 16.7 gram without its suspension.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This medal is in excellent, well above average condition. There are several small dings and scratches on both sides but all details are crisp and even the higher laying parts like the soldiers show little wear. Much of the gold plating is still present and there have been no repairs. The double layer steel suspension is time period to the medal and its connection ring has not been cut.<\/p>\n

This medal was awarded to all participants in the defence of Odessa. Both to soldiers and civilians, who took part in the defence of Odessa during its siege by German forces.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
