\nMedal\u00a0for the Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941\u20131945<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

Variation 1a with a separately soldered eyelet and the word ‘\u0432\u043e\u0439\u043d\u0435’ on its reverse closer to the curved text ‘\u0413\u0435\u0440\u043c\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0435\u0439’<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This medal is literally a textbook example for it is portrayed in ‘Soviet Orders and Medals’ by Andrew Reznik (page 202)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.34 mm in width,\u00a0<\/span>37.24 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.4 gram without its suspension.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This medal is in excellent condition with all details visible and a fair amount of gold plating still present. The double layer suspension is time period to the medal.<\/p>\n

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who were on active service during The Great Patriotic War (Military service of 3 months or civil service of 6 months). Also awarded to some allied forces such as the post 9 September 1944 Bulgarian Armed Forces.<\/em><\/p>\n
