\nMedal\u00a0for the Defense of the Caucasus <\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

Variation 2 with a U-shaped eyelet struck as part of the medal<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Made of gold plated brass. The medal measures 32.34 mm in diameter, 36.75 mm in height and weighs 17.3 gram without its suspension.<\/p>\n

This medal for the Defense of the Caucasus is in excellent condition with light overall wear. All details are crisp and almost all gold plating is still present. The brass suspension and ribbon are time period to the medal and its connection ring has been cut.<\/p>\n

Awarded\u00a0to all Soviet military and civilians who participated in the defence of the Caucasus region during WW2 between July 1942 and 9 October 1943.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
