Soviet Medal for the Capture of Berlin <\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Variation\u00a01 with a separately soldered eyelet<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.10 mm in width, <\/span>37.38 mm in height, including the eyelet and it weighs 17.4 gram without its suspension.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This medal is in nice condition with much gold plating present. The details are all visible and the higher laying parts show light wear only. The brass suspension is time period to the medal.<\/p>\n

The Medal “For the Capture of Berlin” was awarded to soldiers of the Red Army, Navy, and troops of the NKVD, direct participants of the assault and capture of the city as well as to the organizers and leaders of combat operations in the capture of this city.<\/em><\/p>\n
