Soviet Medal for Bravery #147295<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.32 mm in diameter, 42.32 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 29.3 gram without its suspension.<\/span><\/p>\n

The medal is in nice condition with most details crisp. There are many dings and scratches on both sides which gives it a real combat look. The original red lacquer seems to have been replaced by the veteran a long time ago. The double layer steel suspension is old but a replacement for the early rectangular suspension. These had to be changed as a result of the new regulations on wearing Soviet awards of 1943.<\/span><\/p>\n

At first glance the connection ring appears to be cut but when looking closely, it is clearly visible that it is soldered by the mint (see closeup in the picture gallery).<\/p>\n
