\nSoviet Order of Mother Heroine #244080<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

Made of solid silver and enamels. Its main medallion measures 31.69 mm in height including the eyelet and 27.33 mm in width. It weighs 10.5 gram without and 15.2 gram with suspension. This variation has a raised mint mark and a serial number engraved by a rotating tool.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The order is original and in overall good condition but the gold star has been replaced by a gold plated silver piece<\/strong>. This is seen more often and could have been done by either the awardee or people who wanted to use the gold after the collapse of the USSR. It explains the difference in weight of apx 1.5 gram.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Apart from the replaced star the details of the order are crisp with several small dings. The enamels are all present without repairs and show some small contact marks only. The connection ring between the suspension and the medal has not been cut and the stickpin is fully functional.<\/p>\n

This title and accompanying medal were awarded to all mothers bearing and raising 10 or more children.<\/em><\/p>\n
