<\/p>\n Awarded to Jr. Lieutenant Nikolaj Pavlovich Rusan <\/strong><\/span>(\u041d\u0438\u043a\u043e\u043b\u0430\u0439 \u041f\u0430\u0432\u043b\u043e\u0432\u0438\u0447 \u0420\u0443\u0441\u0430\u043d)<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n For street fighting in Berlin (Friedrichshagen), inflicting great damage to the enemy and being wounded <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 45.12 mm in height, 36.78 mm in width and it weighs 25.6 gram without its suspension. The serial number and curved mint mark are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n This order is in a nice, about average condition for a wartime Red Banner. The higher laying parts like the center wreath and torch show light to medium and most details are still visible. The enamels show some flaking and dings but are mostly present and without repairs. Only the enamel on the 3 o’clock ray of the center star is lost. Its connection ring has not been cut and the order comes with its time period double layer steel suspension.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Comrade RUSAN engaged in the battles against the German invaders for complete encirclement of town Poznan, in the German defence breakthrough on the western bank of the Oder river, in the enemy pursuit operation from the Oder to Berlin, and in the subsequent street fighting on the Berlin streets. He proved himself as a brave and decisive officer. Being a tank commander, comrade RUSAN boldly pushed forward into the enemy positions and relentlessly exterminated the enemy personnel and equipment. When his tank platoon commander captain KRAKHMAL\u2019 was wounded, comrade RUSAN assumed the command over the tank platoon. He led the platoon expertly in the complicated combat environment and accomplished all the assigned combat missions.<\/p>\n Leading his platoon forward on 26 April 1945, comrade RUSAN rushed into Friedrichshagen and inflicting the damage to the enemy: 75 enemy troops, 3 vehicles, 5 horse carriages, 11 horses, 3 machine-guns, 5 men armed with Faustpatrone, 3 mortars, and suppressed 2 artillery batteries. Comrade RUSAN was wounded in this engagement, but remained in the line of duty until the combat objective was achieved.
