Measures 51.07 mm in height and 49.31 mm in width. It weighs 38.87 gram. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor <\/em>are located at the 6 o’clock position underneath the screw. The order booklet mentions the order of Nevsky next to an order of the Red Star and an order of the Patriotic War.<\/p>\n This original order of Alexander Nevsky is in great condition with most details visible. Only the higher laying parts on Nevsky’s helmet shows some light wear. The red enamel is problem free apart from a small chip on the very end of the 3 o’clock ray of the red star. The gold plating on the wreath, sword and arrows is mostly present as is the gilt on the pollaxes. There are no repairs and the screwpost has not been shortened. It comes with its time period silver screwplate.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n “During the fighting for the town of Sypnevo-Folvark the enemy put up stiff resistance. Firing his machine guns and artillery pieces over open sights, the enemy prevented our infantry from pushing forward. In order to destroy the firing positions Lieutenant Moiseyenko was given orders to proceed to fire over open sights. Lieutenant Moiseyenko pushed two guns a distance of 150 meters, through the ranks of our infantry, and opened fire. It took two shells to destroy an enemy heavy machine gun. The enemy brought down vicious mortar and artillery fire onto Lieutenant Moiseyenko\u2019s guns and the entire crew of the second gun was taken out of action. Risking his life, Lieutenant Moiseyenko, surrounded by exploding mortar and artillery shells, fearlessly took up position behind the panoramic sight and opened fire at an enemy gun. After five shells he had destroyed it.
