(General Strekalovsky with his wife source<\/a>)<\/p>\n Awarded to Military lawyer II rank (and later Major General of the justice corps) Victor Zosimovich Strekalovsky (\u0412\u0438\u043a\u0442\u043e\u0440 \u0417\u043e\u0441\u0438\u043c\u043e\u0432\u0438\u0447 \u0421\u0442\u0440\u0435\u043a\u0430\u043b\u043e\u0432\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0439)<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n For exhibiting courage and fearlessness in the face of the enemy, being practically constantly present among the field troops. After the war Strekalovsky was the <\/strong>main prosecutor at the Novgorod trail against the Nazis <\/p>\n Made of silver and enamels. The order measures 49.52 mm in width, 47.99 mm in height and weighs 32.4 gram without its screwplate. The serial number is located at the 6 o’clock position and the mint mark on the 12 o’clock position of its reverse. This early variation has a round base ‘heel’ of the screw.<\/p>\n This original order of the Red Star is in near mint condition. The details are all crisp and the stunning enamels are flawless. The reverse is in superb condition too with virtually no dings or scratches. There have been no repairs and the screwpost is full length. It comes with its time period silver screwplate and both sides show an appealing medium patina.<\/p>\n An early award with great eye appeal and impossible to upgrade. Rare as such!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “Military lawyer II rank comrade STREKALOVSKY has been an aide to the military prosecutor of the Southern front since the first days of the Patriotic war against the German invaders.<\/p>\n In this capacity, comrade STREKALOVSKY proved himself as one of the best front level prosecutor aides. This is stated based on his personal qualities, experience, professionalism, and exceptional promptness and discipline.<\/p>\n Comrade STREKALOVSKY has been practically constantly present among the field troops during the 8 month of the Patriotic War. He visited many times all the army level prosecutor officers with the purposes of revision and providing direct practical assistance. He also visited regularly the military units of these armies.<\/p>\n Comrade STREKALOVSKY\u2019s work in the field forces of the 9th and 18th armies was done with the purpose of strengthening the presence of the prosecutor office in the division level command chain. This work was often carried out in very difficult circumstances, especially during the combat periods in Bessarabia, near Nikolaev, near Zaporozhie, and on the Kakhovka bridgehead. In these combat situations, comrade STREKALOVSKY exhibited courage and fearlessness, maintained his composure in the face of direct menace.<\/p>\n The results of comrade STREKALOVSKY work are well known to the command of the 9th and 18th armies, as well as to the commanders of almost all units under these armies. Comrade STREKALOVSKY\u2019s work received very positive reviews and is very respected.<\/p>\n Having extensive practical prosecutor experience, comrade STREKALOVSKY provided invaluable assistance to the low level prosecutor officers in their fight against the crimes and the negative behaviour among the troops, delivered practical help to the political offices and the military commanders.<\/p>\n He is disciplined, politically educated, morally reliable. He is respected among the troops.
