Variation 2a with its U-shaped eyelet struck as part of the medal and the word ‘\u0432\u043e\u0439\u043d\u0435’ on its reverse close by the curved text ‘\u0413\u0435\u0440\u043c\u0430\u043d\u0438\u0435\u0439’<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.09 mm in diameter, 37.04 mm in height and weighs 17.4 gram without its suspension.<\/p>\n

In nice condition with most details visible and medium overall wear. The medal shows several small dings and scratches and much gold plating is still present. The medal comes with it original brass suspension.<\/p>\n

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who were on active service during The Great Patriotic War (Military service of 3 months or civil service of 6 months). Also awarded to some allied forces such as the post 9 September 1944 Bulgarian Armed Forces.<\/em><\/p>\n
