For carrying 17 wounded soldiers from the battlefield in <\/b>Serbia<\/b><\/span> and personally killing 3 enemy soldiers during a German counter-attack\u00a0<\/b>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Made of solid silver. The medal for Bravery measures 37.22 mm in diameter and 42.52 mm in height (including the eyelet) and it weighs 29.2 grams without its suspension.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The medal is in excellent, well above average condition with its details crisp and a medium dark patina on both sides. Most (apx 90%) of the original red lacquer is still present and its connection ring has been cut. The brass suspension is time period to the medal.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nGUDYM Grigory Ignatievich is bestowed for the engagement for the town Zajcar on 09-10 October 1944, in which he carried 17 wounded soldiers from the battlefield and personally killed 3 enemy soldiers during a German counter-attack.<\/p>\n

The medal is for action at the Serbian town Zajecar. The awards for Serbia are not very common, because the Red Army only went across a smaller portion of the country<\/strong><\/p>\n
