Made of solid silver and enamels. Measures 44.87 mm in height including its eyelet, 36.09 mm in width and weighs 25.4 gram without its suspension. The serial number and the mint mark Monetni Dvor <\/em>are located at the 6 o’clock position of its reverse.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This order of the Red Banner is in excellent condition. The higher laying silver parts on the obverse show virtually no wear and the details are all crisp. The red and white enamels are beautiful with minor contact marks only and all gold plating is still present. There have been no repairs and the connection ring has been cut. The order comes with its time period double layer steel suspension.<\/p>\n

The Order of the Red Banner recognized\u00a0military deeds. Before the establishment of the Order of Lenin, the order functioned as the highest (and practically the only) military order of the USSR. Practically all well-known Soviet commanders became Cavaliers of this Order. Also awarded to NKVD personnel.<\/em><\/p>\n
