Made of silver and enamels. It measures 48.11 mm in width, 46.02 mm in height and weighs 29.6 gram without its screwplate. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This original order is in worn but decent condition. The red enamel mostly original but has been repaired by epoxy on the top ray and shows a small chip on the very tip of the 5 o’clock ray. The repair has been done very well and one really has to look twice to be able to see it. The higher laying parts on its silver center piece show light wear only with its details mostly visible. Its well fitted nut is time period to the order.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service; prior to the creation of the long service awards.<\/em><\/p>\n
