\nSoviet Order of the Red Star #2273978<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Made of silver and enamels.\u00a0<\/strong>Measures 48.04 mm in width, 45.99 mm in height and weighs 30.0 gram. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This original order is in a vintage condition with strong wear on the center medallion. The red enamel shows a superficial chip on the tip of the 9 o’clock ray of the star and several small dings and scratches. Its screw has not been shortened and the well fitted nut is time period to the order.<\/p>\n

Most likely awarded in the second half ’45 so with nice research potential.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Soviet Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.<\/em><\/p>\n
