Made of gold plated brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width and 37.08 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 16.1 gram without its suspension.<\/p>\n

In mint condition with perfect details and all gold plating still present. Even the higher laying parts of the medal on both sides show no wear at all. The aluminium suspension is time period to the medal and the open ends of the connection ring have been soldered together.<\/p>\n

Impossible to upgrade!<\/span><\/p>\n

This medal is one of the post-war issues that were awarded by a Voenkomat (Military Commissariat) at the veteran\u2019s place of residence. The reasons for the late issue could vary but in most instances, the Voenkomat medals were \u201ccatch-up\u201d awards to those who had taken part in the battle and then somehow overlooked by the awarding authorities during WW2 and in the immediate post-war years.<\/p>\n

Awarded to Soviet service personnel who took part in the liberation of Prague between the 3 and 9 May 1945.<\/em><\/p>\n
