\nMedal\u00a0for the Defense of the Polar Region variation 1 (WW2)<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

Made of gilded brass. Measures 32,31 mm in width, <\/span>37.17 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.5 gram without its suspension.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This medal is in great condition with crisp details. Even the higher laying parts show almost no wear. Most of the gold plating is still present and the double layer suspension is time period to the medal. The stained ribbon appears to be old and can be replaced on request without additional costs.<\/p>\n

The Medal “For the Defense of the Soviet Transarctic” was awarded to all participants in the defense of the Soviet Arctic region – soldiers of the Red Army, Navy and troops of the NKVD, as well as persons from the civilian population who took part in the defense of the North.<\/em><\/p>\n
