This Medal for the Salvation of the Drowning is made of\u00a0gilded non-ferrous metal. Measurements; 32.09 mm in diameter; 14.7 gram in weight (not including its suspension).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The\u00a0medal is in near mint condition with all details crisp and perfect gold plating. It has no dings or scratches and even the higher laying parts show virtually no wear.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Awarded to any person (of any nationality) for courage, bravery and selflessness whilst rescuing a person\/people from water. Also awarded for outstanding vigilance and resourcefulness preventing drowning or for excellence in organizing\u00a0of rescue operations in Soviet waters or of Soviet citizens.<\/em><\/p>\n
