\nSoviet Medal\u00a0for the Victory over Japan<\/b><\/span><\/h5>\n

Variation 2a with an U-shaped eyelet as part of the medal and a curved diagonal line in the ‘4’ on its reverse<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Made out of gold plated brass. Measures 32.19 mm in width, 37.05 mm in height (including its eyelet) and weighs 17.2 grams without its suspension.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The medal for the Victory over Japan is in nice condition with a fair amount of gold plating still present. The higher laying parts show light wear and most details are visible. The medal comes with an old brass suspension.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Awarded\u00a0to Soviet service personnel of the 1st and 2nd Far East Trans-Baikal Fronts, Pacific Fleet and Amur River Flotilla who were active between 8 August and 23 August 1945.<\/em><\/p>\n
