\nOrder of the Red Star #707103<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

Made of silver and enamels.\u00a0<\/strong>Measures 49.93 mm in width; 48.55 mm in height and weighs 29.9 grams. The mint mark is located above, and the serial number underneath the screw post.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This order is in great condition with most details visible. The red enamel shows a few tiny dings and scratches but none distracting from the overall appearance of the order. The higher laying parts on its obverse show light wear and the silver has a dark patina on its reverse. Its screw has not been shortened and the well fitted nut is time period to the order.<\/p>\n

Probably awarded in the summer of 1944. Great research potential<\/span><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Order of the Red Star was given to Red Army and Navy personnel for exceptional service in the cause of the defense of the Soviet Union; in both war and peace. Also awarded for 15 years of service prior to the creation of the long service awards.<\/em><\/p>\n
