Comrade PEDRIYKO V.F. has been working at the army food supplies depot since 1938. He started his work as a in the rank of private. At present, he occupies the role of the head of the control and operations department.
Despite exceptionally difficult circumstances (the depot sections are spread over 120km long sector, lack of personnel), he ensured timely and proper control and accounting of the food supplies.
During the offensive operations of our army (both in August-September 1942, as well as in January 1943), comrade PEDRIYKO personally visited the depot sites and provided timely food supplies to the units. There has not been recorded any problems in the food supplies, despite multiple enemy artillery and aerial strike in the depot sector (station Zhikharevo, Voibokalo, surroundings of Nazia).
