Documented Group of Soviet Medals

Awarded to Alexander Alexandrovich Kudryavtsev (Александр Александрович Кудрявцев)

 

 

The group consists of the following items:

 

Medal for Combat Merit with medal booklet:

Made of silver and enamels. Measures 32.08 mm in width, 37.27 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 19.2 gram. 

This medal is in a great condition with crisp details and flawless enamels. There are few dings and small scratches only and both sides show a light patina. Its connection ring has not been cut.

The medal comes with its booklet in excellent condition with all pages firmly attached and an original picture of Kudryavtsev wearing his awards. He also received a Medal for Bravery which is missing unfortunately.

 

Medal for the Defense of Leningrad with document:

Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.06 mm in width, 37.50 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.5 gram.

In nice condition with medium wear and several dings and scratches. Most details however are still visible.

The medal comes with its document numbered В 49744

 

Medal for the Defense of Stalingrad with document:

Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.11 mm in width, 37.02 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 16.1 gram.

In a decent condition with medium to strong wear on both sides. There are several dings and scratches on both sides and its connection ring has not been cut.

The medal comes with its document numbered Ф 26966

 

Medal for the Capture of Berlin with document:

Made of gilded brass. Measures 32.14 mm in width, 37.40 mm in height including the eyelet and it weighs 17.6 gram.

In nice condition with light to medium wear and a fair amount of gold plating still present.

Unfortunately his Medal for Bravery and Victory over Germany are missing. The citation for the Medal for Bravery can be found in the picture gallery
